The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The company position developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all clients and raise SRD entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
